I recently read an article about the 'death of the snapshot'.

Those special, random moments in time, that used to be so magically captured with the flash of a bulb and the snap of the shutter...pushed aside for the 'me' generation, a generation of smartphone 'selfies' and low quality, staged social media bound images.

To me, photography is still about capturing those special moments in time.  The planned...and sometimes, more importantly, unplanned moments that stick with us as we get older, and allow us to pass our stories down with a visual to those generations that come next.

To me, photography is still magical.
